Meet Your Coordinators!

In this edition of the blog, I wanted to give you an opportunity to get to know your coordinators. We will be up front and center this year and hope to get to know all of you very well. But we'll start this off by giving you some insight into our lives :-)

Jenny Kent

I am an army wife, mother of 4, preschool teacher, and Christian. I’m from Georgia, but the Army and my husband brought me to Clarksville in 2005. This church and city have become our second home. I enjoy being crafty, spending time outdoors either being active or camping, cooking for my family, and spending time with them.

My journey in this moms ministry began way back in 2008 when our first daughter was 1. I have had many different positions in this group from working with the children to publicity to co-coordinator to coordinator and back to co-coordinator. There have been many changes over the years to this group, but God has been leading them all.

Sara Turnquist

I am married to a software engineer, a mother of 3 very rambunctious children (one we call "Destructo"...seriously, friends, it's for real...), an author of clean Historical Romance, and a Christian. I am originally from Clarksville, but life found me living in Memphis for a while then doing a stint in Orlando. We moved back "home" (for me) when we started having kids. This is not the church I "grew up" in, but I have fallen in love with it. I enjoy a great variety of creative things - drama, painting, music, whatever. And, unlike Jenny, I am not so much the outdoorsy type. I'm a "glamper" at best.

I joined this group five years ago. And have grown so much in my time with these women. I have been a Table Leader (shout out to you lovely ladies!) and the Table Leader Coordinator (God bless them for all they do!). And I am so excited for what God is doing in and through this group and what He will do this year...the connections that will be made, the relationships formed, and how He will grow our own walks with Him.
